According to The Old Queens Head we 'smashed it' last month, the bands were great and Tim from the Bibelots on the decks kept the party going til gone 1am!!
This month we have 4 more acts that drip so much quality we've employed a team to mop the foor, so fear not, you can throw as many shapes on the dance floor without fear of breaking any ankles, Daniel!
Playing live:
The Munroes
Indie / Punk / Rock
www.myspace.com/themunroes
The Munroes make their return to the live music scene for the first time as a full band since January 2008 and we feel very honoured they choose to play on our stage.
With front man Robert Munro Runciman being likened to Mick Jagger and Jim Morrison, plus Liam Gallagher of Oasis commenting that The Munroes reminded him of The Sex Pistols this is going to be a legendary set you cannot afford to miss!

The Dash....
www.myspace.com/the_dash
The Dash have torn through London's hottest venues with their acrobatic and frenzied stage shows and adrenaline fueled grimy assault of pure punk.
The lads came on the Nokia Comes With Music tour with us and we are over the moon to have them back!....
"Sparring riffs, knee jerking brittleness grafted on to a raw and potent undercarriage of alarmingly infectious boot blistering boogie - dare you resist."

Missdavinalee
Tropical / Indie / Pop
www.myspace.com/missdavinalee
Having been played on John Kennedys xposure show earlier this year and releasing a single in May missdavinalee is driving down the road to greatness and her breaks aint working so she aint gonna be stopping!
Another of the Nokia Comes With Music bands so it's a proper lil reuninon.
Go listen to 'Bedbugs', this is what missdavinalee does best.

The Tenets
Indie / Punk / Rock
www.myspace.com/thetenets
At Pull Up The Roots we don't open the show with an average band, whats the point! We start as we mean to go on and this month we have an opening band with class written all over them.
Get down early so you don't miss a note.
Also catch The Tenets on the decks throughout the night keeping your toes-a-tapping on the boards til 1am.

“Set in the bohemian, chandelier sprinkled lounge upstairs at The Old Queens Head, Broccoli’s newest offering to the live circuit captures fiery new talent in support of their latest releases. Intimate rock n roll done good”
